"My wife and I live in Destine Florida, but have a getaway home here in Marion NC. We visit Marion 2-3 times a year. When we came to Marion this past July, we walked into a flooded home. It was a complete disaster. All 3 stories were damaged by water, and to make matters worse, it had been this way for at least 2 months. The mold was on every wall, every floor, every door, and every ceiling. All of our clothes had mold growing on them, all of our furniture was covered also. Get-ER-Done was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Marion. My wife and I honestly believed our home was a total loss. We did not think there was any restoring to be done at this point. We even thought the folks at Get-ER-Done would consider this a total loss. After contacting them, they had a technician sent out to look at our situation. When the technician arrived, he walked in our home, and instantly call in more help. A crew of about 5 men showed up a little after that. He informed me that the first step in this process is getting our home dry, then the mold could be cleaned up. The crew worked for the next couple of hours setting up fans and dehumidifiers, and doing minor tear out. The technician also advised that my wife and I find a hotel room, and contact our insurance, which we did. For the next couple of weeks, the team worked very hard getting the house dry. Once the house was dry, they came up with a plan to have the mold removed. Another couple of weeks went by, but I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at my house after the mold was removed. Everything was so clean, and despite the water damaging most of the house, they cleaned up and left the house nice and neat. It was very nice having someone there that knew not only our houses situation, but cared about our emotional state also. Get-ER-Done also dealt directly with our insurance company.
